Anji Harvey Co-opted Governor

Anji Harvey

My name is Anji Harvey, and I am delighted to be returning to Oak Green School as a Co-opted Governor.

My connection with the school began in 2011 when my children joined as pupils in different year groups. I soon became a Parent Governor and later served as Chair of Governors before stepping away for a few years. I am now pleased to return and continue supporting the school community in my role as a Co-opted Governor.

My professional background is varied and includes working as cabin crew, travelling extensively around the world, serving as an apprenticeship assessor within the education sector, and, most recently, working in a resourcing role for the Fire Service. These experiences have been complemented by my degree in Leadership and Management.

I chose to become a governor because I understand the significant impact that schools have on the lives of children, young people and their families. Being a governor allows me to give back to the community and support a school that has played such an important role in my family's life and continues to mean a great deal to me.

Many thanks

Anji Harvey
