Oak Green School

Welcome

Welcome to Oak Green School!  Thank you for taking time to find out about us and what is happening here.

Oak Green School is a very special place to learn and work.  We are a busy 3-form entry primary school with 2 and 3-year-old nurseries and an ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) for children with autism / social communication needs.

Our school has been at the heart of the Southcourt community in Aylesbury for over 70 years, throughout which we have served local families and aimed for the highest standards of learning and teaching to ensure that all our children thrive, reach their potential and celebrate their achievements. We take the greatest pleasure in working with such a committed team, with care for our children, fabulous learning experiences and academic success at the heart of everything we do.

We are delighted and proud to lead this vibrant, friendly and ambitious school. We work very hard to make sure that all children and adults feel secure, valued and included and everyone is welcome.  Amongst our school’s strengths are our engaging children, diverse community, our capacity for lively, enjoyable learning and for compassion, in line with our values of honesty, respect, friendship, kindness, trust and fairness.

Our children, parents and families, staff, school leaders and governors have very high expectations of each other and we hope that this is reflected in our website here. We trust, whether you are a parent already, a new family, an interested visitor or are just browsing, that you will easily find what you are looking for on our website.  We have tried to capture some of the learning and atmosphere of our school in these pages and provide key information.  We are always trying to develop, so please let us know if you cannot locate what you need.

We strongly encourage you to come for a visit to see our school in action for yourself; we are sure that you will not be disappointed!

Kindest Regards
