Mr Gareth Mortimer, Parent Governor

I’m a new Parent Governor at Oak Green School, having taken up the role since Sep. 23 when my twin’s started in Reception at the School. My background for the last 20 years has been in Leadership roles in the Recruitment industry, working mainly across the Finance and Compliance marketplaces on an International basis.  

I wanted to support the school in providing the best possible learning environment for children, and as part of the Governing board I sit on a number of committees and I am also the Pupil Premium Governor for the school. I am passionate about education and the role that schools play in developing learning and core personality skills in children.
